CAREER COURSES

Our school is equipped with a mock casino floor, a separate poker room and a full length cocktail bar in approximately 2,000 square feet of space in a modern office complex.

Our BAR is a fully functioning wet bar, complete with ice machine and bar stools. Each bar station includes back bar, bar sinks, ice bins and cocktail units, speed racks, soda dispensing guns, assorted bar glassware, mixing equipment, bar mats, garnish trays and liquor bottles containing simulated liquor and mixes.

The CASINO floor consists of 3 Blackjack tables, 2 Poker tables, 1 Pai Gow table, 1 Craps table, 1 Roulette table, chips, cards, shoes for dispensing cards, ShuffleMaster Machines, dice, buttons, etc. The school also utilizes TV, VCR and video training tapes.

Bartending

Our course is designed to provide students with complete and comprehensive training in all aspects of Bartending as well as being a "Bartender". Beginning with introduction, the student will learn to free-pour, use a jigger, and become familiar with all areas of the bar: speedrack, well, back-bar, and of course, are provided with the necessary manual.

Flash & Flair Bartending

Learn the beginning thru advanced moves and techniques used to thrill and amaze your audience from one of San Diego's best. It's exciting. It's fun...and a great way to increase your earning potential.

Poker

Designed to provide the knowledge and terminology to the novice, as well as, current players, with complete and comprehensive training in all areas of Poker dealing for entry level acceptance into the casino poker room.

World Series of Poker Training / The next step up

Developed to prepare our poker graduates or experienced poker dealers in what it takes to make the grad for the position! This course begins in January every year for three weeks. Congratulations to those that passed their auditions this year--We'll see you next year!

Blackjack/Pai Gow Poker/Mini Bac/Carnival Games

The first level of training necessary for entrance into the place known as the "Casino Pit". The more games you know how to deal, the better chance you have. Our course is designed to provide students with complete and comprehensive training in all areas of Shoe and Pitch Blackjack, Pai Gow Poker and the rest of the Table Games (known as carnival games). We begin with the rules and object of the game, equipment used, dealer and player positions.

Craps

The most highly respected position in dealing! If you can deal this game you have a sure thing any where you apply! Craps is a complex game. It is comprised of numerous and individual games are are all interrelated by a single throw of the dice. In order to learn to deal craps, a person needs good manual dexterity, basic math skills and must be willing to devote a good deal of time and energy to practicing all aspects of the game.

Roulette

Ah, come learn this exciting game of chance! From spinning the ball to pushing the stacks. Study the formulas and learn how to muck here. Another easy way the get hired!

Minimum age is 18 years old for casino dealing and 21 years of age for bartending. ID is required to show proof of age. Each applicant will have an in-person interview where applicant's goals will be discussed. A tour of the facilities will be provided and the course will be explained. Interviews and enrollment can be arranged any day that the school is open.

Poker

If just wanting to get started, get better, or really good, we have the class of poker for you! How much do you want to learn and how much do you want to earn?

Blackjack/Pai Gow/Mini Baccarat

Relax! No need to feel intimidated and left out. We'll teach you how easy it is to understand the game and the strategies involved for continued play.

Craps

Learning to play this game is so much easier than you think! It's a fascinating layout and once we simply explain the setup, you'll have more fun rolling and betting than you could have imagined!

Roulette

Yes! Anyone can play this, but let's take another look at the betting positions and strategies involved for extending the life of your play time!
