Damian

Poker Instructor

Damian was born in Michoacan, Mexico and moved to America when he was 14 years old. Having been in San Diego for the past 12 years, Damian graduated high school here then attended a San Diego City college.

A carpenter by trade, Damian advanced quickly to Management and Supervisor positions. He enrolled here at the Academy nearly six years ago and became a certified Poker Dealer. Soon after he began working at a local poker club part time and also deals poker for our divisional company "Casino Knights" (a casino events company).

While becoming successful as a tournament player, he began coaching poker here at the Academy and soon after trained to be an instructor. Damian's been on board for almost two years now and we're proud to have him.
